BPM-120 is a 2GB collection of killer percussion material packed in a massive library and paired with the innovative ULP engine. BPM-120 provides a large stylistic bandwidth of authentic drum and percussion styles from funk, house, soul, disco, pop, rock, beat, 2-step, big beat through electro, metal, real drums, vinyl loops up to Latin, African, and world percussion. All the acoustic and electronic loops were recorded live by studio pros or painstakingly programmed.The circular waveform presentation (Loopeye) sensibly visualizes the transition from loop start and end. In combination with the slidable start and end markers on the outer ring, new variations can be created in just seconds. The loops have no fixed start and end points. Combining single segments from different drum loops creates innumerable variations. All loops are presented in the basic tempo of 120BPM. Thanks to the fantastic sounding MPEX2 algorithms from Prosoniq (Timefactory), the loops can be adapted to your own songs. The sounds remain crystal clear and don't possess any of the usual grain artifacts. No quantization, no soft-synths - everything is fat, real, and funky. Each chord progression is presented in several rhythmic variations. Other progressions and variations are quickly and easily generated. All chord progressions were played by professional studio musicians on several real vintage instruments. All chord progressions were recorded at the basic tempo of 120BPM but can be adjusted 30 BPM (90-150 BPM) at the highest quality. The progressions were recorded in the keys C/a minor and G/e minor but pitch can be adapted--without changing tempo--12 semitones....details
